A Misplaced Protest

Fun planned this weekend:

The Democratic National Committee is bracing itself for protests outside its Rules and Bylaws Committee meeting on Saturday in Washington, where the fates of the Florida and Michigan primaries could finally be decided.

If enough of these concerned citizens had been protesting in Florida and Michigan in 2007 when those states rescheduled their primaries, we couldn't have this mess today. Where was the outrage then?
