The Ridgewood has no ribs. Best sandwich (and beans and fries and slaw) you'll find. I was there a few weeks back. It never fails.
As for me, my favorite for ribs is the dry rub at the original Corky's on Poplar in Memphis (the franchises hurt the original's reputation, voted best in Memphis for about the last 25 years). Better than the 'Vous, based on my three years in Memphis eating at every Q joint I could find. Ribs, sandwich and boloney are all good at Interstate on South Third. There are a lot of good places in Memphis.
hands down! The best damn BBQ I have ever eaten in my entire 44 years!!
WOW!!!! I plan to make another 5 hour trip in the near future !!!
Do they have dry rub ribs? I'm addicted to Rendezvous Ribs in Memphis...haven't found anyone else that can compare to them re: dry rub ribs.
